Hyde Engineering was formed in July 1995 as an engineering firm owned and operated by Liz Hyde.  The company has since grown from one employee to seven full-time employees and two part-time employees.

Hyde Engineering has specialty software for the production of lighting layouts, generator sizing, short circuit analysis, coordination studies, and other project specific engineering calculations.  Drawings are produced through both AutoCAD and REVIT.

Hyde Engineering is a member of the ACEC of Alabama (American Council of Engineering Companies) and IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society).  The firm is registered in 31 states.
